Short version: we do not want your data, and we do not keep it.
No accounts
You never sign up or log in. You type a name for the game, and that is it.
What the game server holds, and for how long
While a room is open, the server keeps the room code, the names you typed, your picture pick, your answers, votes and scores, in memory only. A room closes 15 minutes after everyone leaves (or 4 hours after it opened), and then all of it is gone. Nothing is written to a database.
What your phone keeps
Your browser remembers a random seat id per room and the last name you used, so a refresh puts you back in your seat. The TV remembers its host key. You can clear these any time by clearing site data.
Analytics
If enabled, we count anonymous events (a room was created, a game started or finished, how many players). No names, no answers, no IP addresses, no ad trackers.
Answers read aloud
The TV reads answers with your browser's built-in speech engine. Text is not sent to any voice service.
